Our experienced faculty, advisors, and admissions counselors make transferring to MercyPLUS  easy and personal. MercyPLUS offers a generous credit transfer policy from regionally accredited institutions. Transfer credit is limited to 90 semester hours.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS


Have you taken nine or more credits from a college or university following high school graduation? If so, you must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.25 on a 4.0 scale where the most recent nine or more credit hours were attempted to be admitted to Mercy College.


Transfer Guidelines


MercyPLUS accepts courses offered by accredited institutions of higher learning. Courses accepted as transfer credit may apply toward degree requirements and must be of comparable content and length to MercyPLUS courses.

Common types of transfer credit include: 

  • Prior College Credit
  • Select Straighterline Courses
  • College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

When applicable, transfer courses must meet the following guidelines for transfer: 

  • Minimum grade of C is required to transfer a course
  • Transfer credit is limited to 90 semester hours
  • Official transcripts from all institutions are required for an admissions decision
